Sn collisions , dynamical emission ?

چکیده

Isotopic yields for light particles and intermediate mass fragments have been measured for Sn+Sn, Sn+Sn, Sn+Sn and Sn+Sn central collisions at E/A=50 MeV and compared with predictions of stochastic mean field calculations. These calculations predict a sensitivity of the isotopic distributions to the density dependence of the asymmetry term of the nuclear equation of state. However, the secondary decay of the excited fragments modifies significantly the primary isotopic distributions and these modifications are rather sensitive to theoretical uncertainties in the excitation energies of the hot fragments. The predicted final isotope distributions are narrower than the experimental data and the sensitivity of the predicted yields to the density dependence of the asymmetry term is reduced. Nucleon spin fluctuations and the supernova emission of neutrinos and axions.

In the hot and dense medium of a supernova (SN) core, the nucleon spins fluctuate so fast that the axial-vector neutrino opacity and the axion emissivity are expected to be significantly modified. Axions with ma ∼ 10 eV are not excluded by SN 1987A. A substantial transfer of energy in neutrino-nucleon (νN) collisions is enabled which may alter the spectra of SN neutrinos relative to calculation...

Ja n 20 04 Analysis of charged particle emission sources and coalescence in E / A = 61 MeV 36 Ar + 27 Al , 112 Sn and 124 Sn collisions

Single-particle kinetic energy spectra and two-particle small angle correlations of protons (p), deuterons (d) and tritons (t) have been measured simultaneously in 61A MeV Ar + Al, Sn and Sn collisions. Characteristics of the emission sources have been derived from a “source identification plot” (βsource–ECM plot), constructed from the single-particle invariant spectra, and compared to the comp...

A systematic study of the π/π ratio in heavy-ion collisions with the same neutron/proton ratio but different masses

A systematic study of the π/π ratio in heavy-ion collisions with the same neutron/proton ratio but different masses can help single out effects of the nuclear mean field on pion production. Based on simulations using the IBUU04 transport model, it is found that the π/π ratio in head-on collisions of Ca+Ca, Sn +Sn and Au+Au at beam energies from 0.25 to 0.6 A GeV increases with increasing the sy...

Improvement on Fermionic properties and new isotope production in molecular dynamics simulations

By considering momentum transfer in the Fermi constraint procedure, the stability of the initial nuclei and fragments produced in heavy-ion collisions can be further improved in the quantum molecular dynamics simulations. The case of the phase space occupation probability larger than one is effectively reduced with the proposed procedure. Simultaneously, the energy conservation can be better de...
